Stacey (Mullins) Garbowit (Director)
Stacey is a founding director of the EBC Foundation. Her awareness and support for the importance of spreading the message that early detection of breast cancer saves lives arose following the death of her mother to breast cancer in 2010. Stacey has a long standing passion for running and chose to organize the inaugural Every Boob Counts 5K to honor her mother. Stacey was recently elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Susan G. Komen, South Florida.
Stacey is a partner in a boutique law firm in Boca Raton and focuses her practice in the area of family law. She is a respected author and frequent lecturer on trial and related legal topics. Stacey received her B.A. in 1987 and J.D. in 1991, both from the University of Florida. She is certified to practice by the Florida Supreme Court as well as the Southern, Middle and Northern District Courts of Florida.
Stacey lives in Delray Beach with her husband and three children. In her free time, she enjoys playing golf with her husband, running marathons and triathlons and spending time with her children.
Jennifer Mullins (Honorary Director)
Jennifer is an honorary founding director of the EBC Foundation. Following the loss of her grandmother to breast cancer, Jennnifer, with the help of her mother, founded the EBC Foundation to help spread the message, particularly to young women, that early detection of breast cancer saves lives.
Jennifer is a graduate of Spanish River High School and will be attending the Honors College at the University of Florida Fall 2014. She has aspirations of pursuing a career in the medical field. In her free time, she enjoys playing soccer, running 5K's and spending time with her family and friends.
Vicki Meyer, Vice President
Vicki and EBC Founder, Stacey Garbowit, are sisters and together are committed to helping find a cure for breast cancer and generating awareness for the cause. Through the efforts of the Foundation, they help spread the message of the importance of early detection of breast cancer and raise funds to help women get treatment that they might not otherwise have access to.
Vicki is a Vice President at Incapital LLC and was instrumental in securing their role as the Every Boob Counts 5K Presenting Sponsor in 2012 and again in 2013. Incaptial LLC is a financial services firm that provides fixed income solutions to securities firms and institutional investors across asset classes.
Vicki lives in Boca Raton with her husband and two children. Her son is a sophmore at Florida State University with an interest in film and her daughter, also a member of the race committee, is a senior at Spanish River High School. In her free time, Vicki enjoys to exercise, cook, go to the beach, play violin and spend time with her family.
Cathi Dorn, Financial Sales Manager
Cathi is a Financial Sales Manager at First Citizens Bank in Boca Raton.
Juan-Camilo Tamayo, Higher Education Consultant, MBA
Juan in the owner of JCT 4 Education, an independent educational counseling and planning service. He has assisted thousands of students in reaching their educational goals. His eighteen year career in higher education has given him extensive and successful experience in guiding families through the process of choosing and applying to colleges and universities in the United States and abroad.
